The first was the daily dawn hello to the sea, the second to gather what gifts would be found at the tide-line... The third is to let the waves and wind console me... My beach babies have left today with Mom. And this time I am certain that I will not walk down these steps again. We do not leave until tomorrow, but the morning will be busy with packing and cleaning... For my last walk down the beach, I walked farther than I had ever walked. I crossed those rocks that said do not cross. Who can own the beach? Who can own the sea? I said my goodbyes to the beach and thanked the sea for her wonderful gifts. On my return I meet Richard... We dream of buying the rundown casino and turning it into a family owned project. All the while we are talking, he's snapping pix of my earrings! He's so into detail!

The torn edges in the journaling box are great. I hope your dream will one day come true and you'll make something wonderful out of that casino.
