This is a Hybrid... The pictures were all done in my art program. The journaling reads:

I am truly blessed... In the past few days... in the past few hours, so much has been given to me. This trip to the shore was something my soul craved. I could not afford it, but my brothers and sisters bade me come anyway.

Richard shows me the beach approach and follows me down to the sand. He who told me not to worry about the money... He who shared his heart with me on the long drive here... He who would teach me how to be a better photographer on this trip... I thought it amusing that I captured him so intent on taking his photos that he missed the laughing gull. It’s been a while since I found anything funny about life.

I return to the beach house. Here is Hannah... She so desperately wants to get down to the beach, but her Mom wasn't ready to go. I asked her to come with me... She acted like I'd offered her the Moon... I gave her my shell bucket to carry (newly purchased at Christmas Tree Shop yesterday!) Her happiness was contagious! Little did she know what gifts she was giving me! Her fresh and innocent outlook... Her pure joy at seeing the waves, the sand, the shells... My heart became lighter...

And I return a third time to the beach... This time for myself alone. And as I stand on the sand I feel as if I'm slowly waking from a nightmare. I'd lost my sense of spirit, my center... But now as I watch for the 9th wave, I hear the voice of Cliodna. She whispers and I know that today I've been given a little of my soul back.... I send my prayers off with the tide, and trust they will be answered...
